Our Mission

You are unique!

Your DNA not only helps determine things such as your hair and eye color, but also how your body processes hundreds of commonly-prescribed medicines. We can now use information from our DNA to help us make more precise choices for our medicines. This is called precision medicine.

What We Do

How do we bring the benefits of precision medicine to you?

  • I use a simple, painless cheek swab DNA test to obtain your genetic information.
  • I analyze those results, along with the information you supply in the detailed medical history form.
  • I make personalized medication recommendations for you in a virtual consult session and forward a professional note and genetic results to 3 of your healthcare providers.

    Disclaimers

Dr. Jennifer Marquez is a pharmacist who provides analysis and recommendations about drug therapy. She is a pharmacogenomic-certified pharmacist but she is not a genetic counselor. Should anything arise in your test results that would require the skills of a genetic counselor, you will be referred to one.

Dr. Marquez makes recommendations about drug therapy, which is within her scope of practice as a pharmacist. Keep in mind, however, that your healthcare providers take many things into consideration when deciding upon your treatment plan. Any recommendations that Dr. Marquez makes are only one of many tools that can be considered. You must never change or stop any of your medications on your own unless you first discuss it with your healthcare provider.

The accuracy of Dr. Marquez’s analysis and recommendations is partially dependent upon you providing a thorough and accurate medical history intake questionnaire.
