The Human Cost of Not Testing PGx

Our hearts break to learn about patients that have lost their lives or have suffered serious adverse effects as a result of gene-drug interactions that could have been identified beforehand through PGx testing.

Many advocacy groups work tirelessly, using their time and resources to passionately urge patients and providers to implement PGx testing so that no one else has to endure losing their loved one due to a catastrophic gene-drug interaction that could have been prevented.

An example of such a group is Advocates for Universal DPD/DPYD Testing (AUDT).
